With crime shows dominating television, the question arises: Are we becoming desensitized to crime and violence? Is there ANY crime that still turns stomachs? What crimes shock you or impact you emotionally?

From 2003-2005 my friends and I were at that bar every friday night, my best friend was the DJ. Probably rubbed shoulders with Mr. Rozendal weekly. The night of the murder we decided to try another bar and didn't end up at O'grady's for the first time in 2 years. I have many memories of great times there but they are now forever spoiled with the thoughts of this crime. My heart goes out to the surviving family. My closest male friends and I regret not being there that night, not to be heroes, but to at least give the guy a chance.

Crimes against children and seniors anger me the most. I think random crimes, mishaps and unfortunately death do happen. Car accidents, robberies, etc. etc. happen all the time.
