Supporting an election fraud?

Tuesday saw confirmation of what many had suspected -- there was widespread fraud in the recent Afghanistan presidential election. Supporters of Canada's Afghanistan mission argue in the absence of credible alternatives, Canada has little choice but to support the government of now tainted president Hamid Karzai. Critics ask why Canadian troops are fighting and dying to support a government that can only hold power through corruption. What do you think?
