I am so sick of hearing about more money for poverty. I couldn't possibly afford to support anymore poverty and still stay alive myself. Low/no income families are granted free lawyers, cheap housing, free food from food banks, medical and dental benefits, free daycare, free extra curricular activities, Free shelter access, access to free cooked meals, free donated clothing, free winter coats, free school supplies, free family support workers....things that I, the working family, would go broke or banrupt on the cost of! Soon the tables will be turned and it will be more beneficial not to work, especially if your raising a family. Our poorest families are truly not poor in the big picture. We have some of the richest poor people ever!

Why didn't you post my comment?

Enough with the poverty articles in the Spectator. I am sick of reading about it. Can you not write about something else.

Personally I think the majority of polls are nothing more than backroom arm waving. I've lived in this city for 55 years along with all of my friends, not once have I ever been contacted for any of these polls and neither have my friends. The spec proudly announces only 6% are thinking about the stadium debacle, and yet, when they actually get input from the people which they can't manipulate almost everybody mentions the stadium. Maybe because the spec seems to endorse lazy eyes eizzyberger explains alot of things.

Am I missing something? What about the other 67%?
