I would like to know when did the Hamilton Police Services take over The Hamilton Spectator?

It is silly and naive for people to think that a corporate entity such as the Spec (or any other company) wouldn't put limits on decorum. If you can't get your point across without swearing, I suggest you buy a thesaurus or dictionary and refine your vocabulary. These websites are the public face of a well respected company and has an obligation to to uphold a civilised method of generating debate within the community. ONe or two people may not like it but I would suggest the majority of readers approve.

Well will the Tiger Cats get their way? Do the tax payers, or better yet do the residents in Aldershot get any say? Oh I am sure someone will hear about it. Aldershot, Stoney Creek, or Burlington is NOT Hamilton. Next you will want to change the NAME. Lets be honest down by the Bay front is a good location. Or did someone change their mind, yet again about bringing back the tourism to Hamilton. Well the clock is ticken, or will Hamilton yet again rush into something that is going to have long lasting reprocutions for the younger generation. O did you forget about them? Hamilton has always been the Dirty City, well at one time that Dirt made this city the money. Keep the money and revenew in Hamilton, they need it.

What I would like to know, is if the Spectator is such a fine paper, winning awards etc, why they can't get the crossword puzzles entered right? It seems no one checks that the clues match that actual grid. It happens far too often, and only confirms what many think of the Spec.

so are we going to get back to topics or continue discussing guidelines and censorship?
how about the fact we voted the same silly council back in so now they're even more empowered to spend, spend, spend!...all of a sudden none are talking tax cuts.
